September 3rd - Celebrate Ken Rowe’s inclusion into the Society of Animal Artists 50th Anniversary and Exhibit

It’s hard to believe that summer is already over – unofficially, anyway. At Rowe Fine Art Gallery, the celebration is twofold: We’re commemorating the end of summer as well as gallery co-owner and world-renowned bronze sculptor Ken Rowe’s participation in the Society of Animal Artists 50th Anniversary and Exhibit (this is the fifth year Ken has been chosen for the prestigious exhibition). Ken’s sculpture, “Secret Canyon Dweller,” is one of only 45 sculptures to be part of the exhibit that begins in California and then travels across the country. Before you fire up the grill one last time, head to Rowe Fine Art during the Sedona Gallery Association’s 1st Friday Gallery Tour, September 3 from 5 to 8 p.m., where you’ll find wine, appetizers and great art. Though gallery co-owners and Ken and Monica Rowe will be in San Diego for the Society of Animal Artists opening reception, they invite you to visit the gallery in their absence. The gallery’s knowledgeable staff will be on-hand to answer any questions about Rowe’s artists and their mediums. The gallery represents only the best southwestern artists including sculptors Walt Horton, Doug Hyde, Kim Seyesnem Obrzut, Ken Payne, Erik Petersen, Ken Rowe and Jason Scull.
