![]() April 3rd - Rosemary Chavez Duo to Perform at Tlaquepaque![]() Rosemary, who is from Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, began singing at three years old. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College where she toured with the internationally acclaimed Nordic Choir under the direction of the legendary Weston Noble performing in such notable settings as Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City. She was also a featured recording soloist in the Luther College production of Handle’s Messiah before going on to perform and tour with several Midwestern musical show groups. As a professional singer, Rosemary has performed with numerous recording and performance artists throughout the country and some of her recordings include three featured solos on the movie soundtrack CD, ROAR, starring actresses Tippi Hedren (Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds") and Melanie Griffith ("Working Girl"), as well as being the featured vocalist on the American Voices CD written by gold record, award winning composer and arranger, Terence P. Minogue. Rosemary and Frankie's latest CD recording is entitled Sweet Jazz a’la mode. Come and enjoy this wonderful musical presentation.
